A home owner/occupier and landlord would benefit from this ‘house doctoring’ service where DesRes will spend up to two hours reviewing your property room by room. On the same visit you will be presented back with the key areas that are in need of attention and recommendations on what to do and how to home stage your property.
We will only suggest works that we feel are vital for a quick sale. See PRICING for the cost of this initial/ verbal consultation.
After the initial/verbal consultation you can decide how much help you need to implement the recommendations. We can hold your hand through the whole process or you can step back and leave it all to us – it’s up to you.
As well as the staging itself i.e: furniture placement, room dressing etc, and depending on your requirements, the service can include the buying or renting of furniture, sourcing accessories and artwork, and even the introduction and coordination of tradesmen.
Clever sourcing means that we can commit to buying at the best value without compromising on style. And you pay for all accessories at cost price – we won’t take a cut. See PRICING section for our hourly rate.
We always prepare a Schedule of Works to give you an idea of time and budget to approve before works start. This would include trades, a full inventory of purchases and/or rental and our fees.
We will also keep you informed of how we are tracking against budget whilst works are in progress.
I can’t believe how much better the house looks – and especially in such a short time!”

Refurbish & Renovate
Some properties may require more than just Staging and are beyond a straightforward staging project. Some rooms may need complete refurbishment – damp proofing, decorating, floors sanding, new carpets, new curtains, repairs, gardening and maybe even new bathrooms and kitchens.
We will put together a detailed proposal which will include quotes for all of the required tradesmen, together with a timing plan for the whole project.
Once given the go ahead, we can then recommend specific colour schemes, including paint colours, tiles, bathroom and kitchen fittings, curtains etc.
During the project, we will schedule and manage the tradesmen, make regular site visits to check on progress and keep you informed. At the end we can then stage the property with either your furniture, rental furniture or a combination of both.
See PRICING section for the initial/ verbal consultation cost and the hourly rate for developing the Schedule of Works and Implementation.
Wow wow wow!!!! Our flat looks amazing and so contemporary. I really love the neutral but high end feel that you have both created. I can’t tell you how grateful we are.”
